

The Bunker has been launched as a unique dining space set apart from the main building at Kesgrave Hall - making your party extra special. The Bunker comes complete with its own satellite kitchen, chef and a member of the front of house team to look after your party and can accommodate up to 18 people.
Chef Stuart Oliver has designed a special Bunker menu including favourites such as open ravioli of asparagus with wild mushrooms and goats cheese, classic prawn cocktail for starters, followed by roast venison loin or roast cod fillet and a mouth-watering array of puddings... dark chocolate and orange mousse and strawberry profiteroles to name a couple. We also need to mention the trio of lemon - lemon meringue pie, lemon drizzle cake and lemon sorbet! Chef will also carve in the room if you choose Salmon en Croute, Dedham Vale fillet of beef 'encroute' or traditional roast sirloin of beef for your whole party.
Another added bonus is that the Bunker has its own terrace, perfect for pre-lunch or dinner drinks if the weather is good, otherwise there is plenty of room in the Bunker building.

With all the talk about The Bunker we mustn't forget The Mess which has been a great favourite since we opened in 2008. The Mess is on the ground floor with French windows looking out over the gardens. Featuring state-of-the-art audio visual equipment, this room has retained all its original features and has a superb oak table which can take up to 24 diners (smaller numbers are no problem; we can remove parts of the table!). Again, The Mess comes complete with a dedicated member of the front of house team to look after your party.
Two menus are available in The Mess - Chef's Showcase and Mess Party Menu. The Bunker has one menu but as you will see there's plenty to choose from!
Room hire for the Bunker is £150 Monday - Sunday (lunch or dinner). A £100 rate applies on Friday evening & all day Saturday for the Mess. For more details do give us a call on 01473 333741.
