What to expect

Join us in The Hangar on Tuesday 17^th December and get into the festive spirit with The Christmas Variety Lunch.

If you fancy celebrating a little differently this year, The Christmas Variety Lunch is just the event for you, with great live entertainment including live singers and comedians: Welsh tenor, John Pearce, Comedian, Paul McCaffrey & Tom Lucy.

Arrive at 12.30pm and help yourself to a welcome glass of bubbles, before sitting down to enjoy a delicious three-course lunch at 1pm, followed by coffee and mince pies.

Tickets are £75 per person and must be booked in advance by calling the reception team at Milsoms Kesgrave Hall on 01473 333741.

Welsh tenor, John Pearce

John represented Wales at the Cardiff Singer of the World 2011 competition for emerging young opera singers, which was broadcasted on the BBC. John has performed at many of the UK's leading concert venues which include Bridgewater Hall Manchester, Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Barbican Centre London and St Davids Hall Cardiff. In 2013, John performed the Verdi Requiem with the BBC NOW which was broadcasted live on Radio 3. He also recorded a Beethoven 9 for the French tv channel 'ARTE' with the Opera national de Lorraine.

Comedian, Paul McCaffrey

Paul is an award-winning comedian (Latitude New Act of the Year, London Paper New Act of the Year) and headlines at the biggest comedy clubs in the country. He has performed four critically acclaimed Edinburgh shows as well as major music festivals: Reading, Leeds, V Festival, Bestival and Latitude.

Comedian, Tom Lucy

Tom has been performing stand up comedy since he was 16 years old and has toured internationally with his own headline shows as well as opening for comedians such as Jack Whitehall, Michael McIntyre and Aziz Ansari. He has performed three sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Festival (2017, 2018 and 2022) receiving rave reviews and adding extra shows.
